Stephens Pharmacy opened their doors in Hawley PA, December 2006 inside the Hawley Market IGA, Main Ave.  This opening marked the return of a local pharmacy to downtown Hawley, a void since Brown’s Pharmacy had closed years earlier.  Today Stephens Pharmacy – Hawley provides a personalized pharmacy experience where customers can still see the pharmacist and ask questions they may have.  A number of over-the-counter items are available from cough and cold to pain relief  and dental care.  We even carry the Popular Burt’s Bees line of products.  It is a great alternative to the big chain drug stores considering we also offer home delivery for seniors and home-bound customers.

Lead pharmacist and Hawley-native, Elizabeth Sanders, Pharm D, was inspired to begin a career in pharmacy after hearing Wayne W. Stephens speak at a career day at Wallenpaupack Area High School.  Pharmacy technicians Paige Corso, RN-CPhT and Kris Rose CPhT and Tiffany Mathews CPhT along with pharmacists Tom Osborne, RPh and Wayne R. Stephens, RPh, round out the team behind the counter and deliveries are handled by Jesse Harrison.
